Borgo Paradiso
Dove siamo
Borgo Paradiso is located in Veddo, a small and quiet hamlet in the municipality of Maccagno with Pino and Veddasca, in the province of Varese.
Situated in the northwestern part of the Lombardy region, directly overlooking the eastern shore of Lake Maggiore, Veddo is just a few steps from the Swiss border and the Piedmont region, nestled in a mountain landscape characteristic of the Lombard Prealps.
Located in the Veddasca Valley, a green and sparsely populated valley renowned for its unspoiled nature, lush forests, and spectacular views of Lake Maggiore, Borgo Paradiso is the perfect place for those seeking tranquility and contact with nature. Thanks to its elevated position above the town of Maccagno, it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Maggiore.
Despite its foothill location, Borgo Paradiso is 115 km from Milan, 200 km from Zurich, and 45 km from Lugano.
Veddo benefits from both its proximity to Lake Maggiore, with access to tourist spots like restaurants, bars, and beaches, and the peaceful atmosphere typical of mountain villages. You can reach the highest peaks either by narrow, winding roads that wind through the woods or by hiking trails.
